Quan Kang Tae Oh va signar per primera vegada amb Fantagio, va signar com un dels membres del primer grup actor de la companyia. Aquest grup es deia 5Urprise i va incloure altres actors com Seo Kang Joon , Lee Tae Hwan , Gong Myung , i Yoo Il.
